Waffles

Makes 8 small 10cm Waffles, 4 normal Waffles

Ingredients:

1 Cup All Purpose Flour

1/2 Tablespoon Baking Powder

1 1/2 Tablespoon Sugar

Pinch of salt

1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

1 Egg

1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil

1 Cup Milk

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Method:

Preheat waffle iron, spray with cooking spray if it is not non-stick.

In a medium bowl sift together the 1 Cup Flour, 1/2 Tablespoon Baking Powder, 1 1/2 Tablespoon Sugar, 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon, add the pinch of salt after sifting, then whisk together dry ingredients.

In a small bowl whisk the 1 Egg, 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil, 1 Cup Milk, and 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract until combined.

Add wet mixture to dry mixture and mix well, till there’s no lumps.

Pour mixture into waffle iron – this can be a process, figuring out the perfect amount to put in. My advice would be to put the mixture in the middle and put enough to still leave a couple centimeters between the edge of the iron and the mixture.

Serve with Nutella, butter and syrup, lemon and sugar or any other topping that you deem suitable.
